Meet the Coaches

Calvin Page

Calvin comes from a competitive tennis background, playing college tennis at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. He then went on to play competitive paddle tennis in Venice Beach before finding pickleball in the summer of 2022 and has quickly progressed into a high level 5.0 player.

After 10 years of coaching youth tennis, Calvin had a smooth transition into becoming a pickleball instructor. Calvin is certified by the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR) and has coached independently before joining Santa Monica Pickleball Club.

Calvin is an avid tournament player and also runs our round-robin clinics and Live Ball sessions. His enthusiasm for the game can be heard from across the court. Calvin brings a high energy to his clinics and makes it fun and enjoyable for everyone.

Sher Keith

Meet Sher, Pickleball instructor and Certified IPTPA Instructor Level II. With over 15 years of experience playing and competing in pickleball, She has won medals in numerous tournaments across California and Colorado. As a dedicated ambassador of the sport and coach, she has taught in CA, CO, PA, AZ and even Stockholm, Sweden! Beyond competition, She has served on the Southwest Colorado Pickleball Association board in Durango for 2 ½ years and helped organize the town’s inaugural tournament. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned player, her energetic and encouraging teaching style will ignite your pickleball potential.

This past month I had the honor to be on the Amadeus Star inaugural Pickleball & Classical Danube Riverboat Cruise, from May 18 - 27, 2023. What an amazing time we had, having the opportunity to combine our passions for pickleball and travel.
