How to play Pickleball on your Royal Caribbean Cruise.

It’s easy to find when pickleball is offered onboard, just check the Cruise Compass or Royal Caribbean app!

Open Play Pickleball is often offered in the mornings of your cruise, from around 8AM to 11AM.

Play is located on the outdoor Sports Court (or indoor SeaPlex on Quantum Class ships).

“Open Play” means you simply show up to the court, grab a paddle and ball, and start playing. If the court is full when you arrive, you’ll have to wait for the court to open up.

It is recommended showing up as soon as the activity begins to guarantee an open court.

Pickleball is included in your cruise fare and equipment is provided (although you are welcome to bring your own).

This past month I had the honor to be on the Amadeus Star inaugural Pickleball & Classical Danube Riverboat Cruise, from May 18 - 27, 2023. What an amazing time we had, having the opportunity to combine our passions for pickleball and travel. We had a fabulous time with other players, who quickly became friends, as well as talented Hungarian players, including a national champion. This was a first class trip, well organized and executed.
