Entering Villa Lido to the wide-open view of the bay and Caribbean Sea beyond is a sight for sore eyes. Cool elegant, modern interiors invite you in. The view is maximized by the open walls of glass. Every element of the masterful design has been created to work in unison with the idea of the inside, outside living. This is one space, multi-faceted and beautifully designed. Formal living leads to comfortable sofas in the media area on one side and the in-formal breakfast/bar area on the other. All doors lead to one of the two oversized verandahs – dining & seating are comfortable and inviting.

The pool & lawn nudge the beautiful white sandy beach of Old Fort Bay. The pool-side pavilion for long lazy lunches gives welcome shade in the heat of the day. Sun loungers, both on the deck and on the Baja ledge or the brightly colored bean bags chairs on the lawn, invite relaxation.

• Absolutely No outsider policy remains. Special permission is required for persons to come onto the property as per usual.

• Staff gratuity – 10% (high season) to 15% (low season) of villa rental rate is to be paid to the head of house in Jamaican or US Dollars at the end of the stay.

This trip was the best adventure I have ever experienced. Playing pickle on shore with the locals was fantastic! Language was no barrier, all you need are smiles and fingers for score. It was the love of pickleball that brought congeniality to the group. No arrogance just camaraderie. Our friendship will last forever. It was perfectly organized. I would go again.

This past month I had the honor to be on the Amadeus Star inaugural Pickleball & Classical Danube Riverboat Cruise, from May 18 - 27, 2023. What an amazing time we had, having the opportunity to combine our passions for pickleball and travel. We had a fabulous time with other players, who quickly became friends, as well as talented Hungarian players, including a national champion. This was a first class trip, well organized and executed.
