Ginny Alexander

Ginny Alexander started teaching pickleball in 2014 and became PPR certified as a Coach in 2022 by legendary PPR Lead Clinician and Education Coordinator Sarah Ansboury.

Although her first love was volleyball, she took her collegiate volleyball coaching experience to the pickleball court in 2014 training high school age youth. Her background in coaching high level athletes in volleyball has helped her develop training programs in pickleball centered around movement, skill progression, and drill development.

In addition, she has in-depth athletic administrative experience having been a collegiate athletic director and coach for over 20 years. She holds an M.Ed in Education with a focus on Physical Education, Recreation and a concentration in Sport Psychology. She also continues to teach Sport Management and Sport Psychology courses at the collegiate level as well as mentoring coaches in several sports fields.

She takes on a wholistic approach when teaching pickleball and understands the dynamics of pushing each person to be their best. In 2024, she launched EndlessPickleball.org, a consortium of coaches and program providers who create events and new approaches to teaching pickleball. She loves to collaborate, create programs and host pickleball events. She is pickleball sponsored by Gearbox and Adidas.

This trip was the best adventure I have ever experienced. Playing pickle on shore with the locals was fantastic! Language was no barrier, all you need are smiles and fingers for score. It was the love of pickleball that brought congeniality to the group. No arrogance just camaraderie. Our friendship will last forever. It was perfectly organized. I would go again.

This past month I had the honor to be on the Amadeus Star inaugural Pickleball & Classical Danube Riverboat Cruise, from May 18 - 27, 2023. What an amazing time we had, having the opportunity to combine our passions for pickleball and travel. We had a fabulous time with other players, who quickly became friends, as well as talented Hungarian players, including a national champion. This was a first class trip, well organized and executed. Thank you Connection to Cruise and Amadeus Cruises. The Amadeus Star is a beautiful ship, with world class accommodations and service. A voyage of a lifetime!
